Tyson Hermes has been a proud resident of Erlanger for over 16 years. He and his wife, Julie, have raised their three children in the community they are deeply committed to serving.
Tyson served as Mayor of Erlanger from 2015 to 2019 and currently serves as an Erlanger City Councilmember. He is also the Chairman of the Northern Kentucky Regional Ethics Authority and the Chairman of the Parks Master Planning Task Force for the City of Erlanger.
In addition to his public service, Tyson is a local business owner, builder, beekeeper, and ski instructor. He is a parishioner at St. Barbara and has served on numerous boards and commissions focused on responsible growth, economic development, and regional collaboration, including Planning and Development Services, the Building Industry Association, and the Northern Kentucky Area Development District.
Tyson’s leadership is rooted in experience, integrity, and a long-term commitment to the future of Erlanger.
